Foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip certification reveals 15W charger

We recently learned that the model name Galaxy Fold Bloom was just a codename for the upcoming foldable Samsung device. Instead, it will be called the Galaxy Z Flip, and it will be the start of a new product lineup. The gadget has found its way into China's 3C certification database, where we learn it has a 15-watt charger in the box. The device bears the same SM-F700 model number as those seen in previous certification exploits, confirming that it could be the same device.

As GSMArena points out, the Galaxy Z Flip will be the first foldable to feature an Ultra-Thin Glass construction, making it the first of its kind. But other than that, the specs aren't going to be the best of the best. It will reportedly run on a Snapdragon 855 chipset, along with dual rear camera setup and a 10-megapixel selfie shooter. The price will be around US$1,000 (around CA$1,306). Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip alongside the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Buds+.

Report: Samsung Galaxy Buds+ to get better battery, no active noise cancellation

Samsung will reportedly unveil the next-generation galaxy buds at next month's Unpacked event. But it won't have a feature that was initially rumoured: active noise cancellation (ANC). SamMobile now reports that these rumours are untrue. According to the site's "reliable sources," the Galaxy Buds+ will not feature ANC. But Samsung has reportedly improved overall sound quality, including call quality. The wireless earbuds will get four microphones, which is twice as many as its predecessor.

If the rumours are true, you get even more airtime. The Galaxy Buds+ reportedly get an 85mAh battery over the original's 58mAh battery. This upgrade should give you around 12 hours on a single charge. The design isn't expected to change either. It might not be enough of an update for current Galaxy Buds, but it could entice new customers. We'll find out more on February 11, when the accessory is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy S20 series.
