Google warns Huawei users about sideloading apps like Gmail and YouTube

Google, on Friday evening, uploaded a support article addressing its current situation with Huawei and how it's affecting its users. The US government banned companies in its country from conducting business with the Chinese tech company, which means Google's services and apps aren't available in Huawei's newer models.

While Google tries to steer clear of talking about whether Huawei poses a threat to US national security, it talks about how it works with Huawei while complying with government regulations to protect its existing users. Tristan Ostrowski, legal director for Android and Google Play, wrote: "Our focus has been protecting the security of Google users on the millions of existing Huawei devices around the world. We have continued to work with Huawei, in compliance with government regulations, to provide security updates and updates to Google's apps and services on existing devices, and we will continue to do so as long as it is permitted."

LG V60 ThinQ official renders leaked

LG V60 ThinQ would've probably debuted at Mobile World Congress 2020. But with the conference shut down because of the coronavirus threat, it isn't clear when we'd see the phone. We do at least get a look at the device based on these alleged press renders. The leaks show a design similar to the V50 with its small bezels and waterdrop notch. It also has a dedicated Google Assistant button, volume rocker, and power button. LG is using a gold frame in this render, but there might be other options, too.

The LG V60 is rumoured to be a 5G-ready phone running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 8GB of RAM, at least 128GB of expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone is expected to have four cameras and four mics. And aside from having a microSD slot, it might also still retain a 3.5mm audio jack.

Upcoming 'Star Wars' movie rumoured to focus on Sith planet Exegol

Lucasfilm

With the future of Star Wars movies up in the air, we scramble for any new bits of information about what comes next. The latest rumour we've heard talks about the movie reportedly taking place on the Sith planet Exegol. And the film will reportedly have Sleight filmmaker J.D. Dillard at the helm alongside Luke Cage and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. writer Matt Owens. This movie, however, doesn't have any connection with the announced Star Wars trilogy from Rian Johnson or the movie pitched by Marvel head Kevin Feige.

We don't know if and when this project might happen, especially with Lucasfilm previously saying they will concentrate on TV shows. But if this movie does push through, it could answer some questions left by the last Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker.
