Netflix now lets you turn off autoplay previews

Perhaps you're part of the subset of users who don't like it when Netflix autoplays previews for you. Thankfully, the streaming service is finally leaving the decision in your hands. The company shared on Twitter how you can turn autoplay on or off. The setting is accessible from your browser.

You need to sign into Netflix there and go to Manage Profiles. If you come from a household with multiple accounts, you'll have to then head to yours or to whichever account you want to update. From there, you will see the option "Autoplay previews while browsing on all devices." You just need to uncheck it; then you're done. Netflix warns that it might take some time for the update to take effect. "You can force an update by switching to another profile, then switching back in order to reload your profile with the updated setting," the company says.
