Stadia 'Claw' accessory already sold out on Google Store Canada

While we seem to have gotten first dibs on Google Stadia's Power Support Claw, the accessory has since been sold out on the company's online Canadian store. Priced at $19.99, the Claw is designed to mount your phone in front of you instead of above the controller. It attaches over the face of the Stadia Controller with cutouts over the Stadia button, USB-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Made out of plastic, the Claw has padding in the spring-loaded grip to hold your phone in place. It's designed for the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4, and Pixel 4 XL, but Google said it would fit other phones just fine. There have been reports online that the Claw might leave scuff marks on your gamepad, so you might need to be careful with it.

The Claw still hasn't made its way to the US Google Store, which already had the listing for the accessory during Stadia's launch last month. We're hoping Google restocks it soon. 

Disney+ in Canada has most of the 'X-Men' movies

21st Century Fox

If you want to watch most of Fox's X-Men franchise, you can now stream these films on Disney+. With the acquisition of 21st Century Fox in March, Disney owns the rights to the X-Men films. And the titles you can stream now include X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), X-Men: First Class (2011), The Wolverine (2013), and X-Men: Apocalypse (2016).

Some of the missing titles include both Deadpool movies, Logan, and Dark Phoenix. With its focus on family-friendly entertainment, Disney+ will most likely not get Deadpool and Logan as these movies are R-Rated. As for Dark Phoenix, the film just came out in June, so there might be existing rights agreements that bar Disney from putting it on its streaming service. Deadpool isn't available on any Canadian streaming service right now, while Deadpool 2 can be streamed on Bell's Crave platform. Logan used to be on Netflix, but it has since left the service.

Is a notchless iPhone in our future?

Is Apple going to introduce a notchless iPhone in 2020? Tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee (a.k.a. MKBHD) points out that the Apple Support's Twitter account features two different kinds of iPhone, with one of them seemingly without a notch. Other Twitter users were saying it could just be because of a glare in the photo. But there have been rumours that at least one of the iPhones coming out next year will do away with a notch.

Of course, we wouldn't get a confirmation from Apple until the company launches the device. But some of the other rumours surrounding the next-generation iPhone includes OLED displays, 5G connectivity, and bundled AirPods. What do you want to show up in the next iPhone?

Motorola to delay release of foldable Razr in North America

And unlike its competitors in the space, the delay isn't because of a technical issue. Motorola told BNN Bloomberg in a statement that it was delaying the launch of the foldable Razr because of high demand. The company isn’t setting a new date yet, but the initial plan was to make it available for pre-order in the US this month, with shipping happening in January. As for Canada, Motorola didn't give a definite date, but Telus recently offered sign-up notifications for those who wanted to know when pre-orders are going to happen.

Motorola promises the new release timeline won't be a "significant shift" from the original launch schedule. The smartphone maker also intends to release the foldable device in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia, but it won't commit to a launch date yet.
