The new Fossil Gen 5 smartwatch will let you take iPhone calls

We already knew that the Fossil Gen 5 is coming, and now we get more details about the smartwatch. And one of the new features is its ability to let you listen to and answer iPhone calls right from the watch. This feature has been available for a while on Android already. But we believe this is the first time Wear OS is offering this for iPhone users. It isn't available at launch, though. It'll arrive via a proprietary app launching in the fall. According to a Fossil spokesperson, "No action is required from your iPhone. The watch becomes another way to take your call via Bluetooth." If you're looking for iMessage support, that still isn't available right now.

All of the specs that were leaked recently were right. But we're here to share additional details we didn't get to share. The smartwatch has 1GB of RAM, NFC, and built-in GPS. And it's waterproof up to a depth of 30 metres.

For Honor (Ubisoft)

Who doesn't want free games? Until August 9th, the Epic Games Store is offering both Alan Wake and For Honor for free. You can pick up the standard edition of For Honor, which is a multiplayer combat game set in medieval times. Or you can get Alan Wake, which is a twisted psychological thriller involving an author who is trying to unravel mysteries of a missing week and to find his missing wife. Both games have violence in them. But For Honor gets rated M for "blood and gore, [and] intense violence. While Alan Wake gets rated T for "blood, language, use of alcohol and tobacco, [and] violence."

Next week only one game will be available for free on the store. It's the 3D puzzle game called Gnog. It'll be free starting August 8th.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro will reportedly up the camera game

Huawei's next major flagship, the Mate 30 Pro, is highly anticipated by smartphone fans. And one of the biggest things about the phone will be its camera setup. New leaks about the phone cite the three advanced specs for the camera. According to @Rodent950 on Twitter, the phone will have a 40MP 1/1.5" sensor with f/1.6 - f/1.4 aperture, RYYB pixel layout and Cine lens (for videos), 40MP 1/1.7" 120-degree ultra-wide lens with Cine lens, and an 8MP telephoto 5x zoom lens. Famous leaker Ice Universe corroborates the claim by saying the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 "has no chance of beating [the] Mate30 Pro in terms of camera hardware." The larger sensors being pegged for this phone signals Huawei taking cues from the likes of the old Nokia Lumia 1020 of having large high-resolution sensors to achieve the best picture quality.

Other rumoured specs of the phone include a new edge-to-edge waterfall screen, HiSilicon Kirin 985 processor, integrated 5G modem, 55W fast-charging support, and 10W wireless reverse charging support.
