Netflix signs multi-year deal with the team behind ‘Big Mouth’

The newest deal Netflix has signed is with Big Mouth creators, Brutus Pink. The two companies signed a multi-year animation deal that will have the new production house creating animated movies and shows for Netflix. Brutus Pink, which comes from creators Nick Kroll, Jennifer Flackett, Andrew Goldberg, and Mark Levin, will also be making three additional seasons of Big Mouth beyond the third season lined up for the fall. What the other projects will be isn’t clear right now.

Bethesda promises you won’t need internet access to play the ‘Doom’ re-releases

Some Doom players weren’t particularly happy when Bethesda re-released the first three Doom games. That’s because the re-released version required users to have a BethesdaNet account, which meant you needed to be online. And this frustrated players who have been playing these games before home internet access really took off. The developer assures its players that it’s listening, though. Bethesda is now working on making accounts optional for players. The company reasoned that the requirement to reward the members of Bethesda’s Doom Slayers Club for playing the original titles. But if you don’t want to sign up, it seems you’ll be able to play the game soon without it.

Apple might release two more iPad models this year

A new regulatory filing suggests Apple is gearing up to launch a couple of new iPad models before the year ends. Right now, we have five different models: iPad Mini, iPad, iPad Air, 11-inch iPad Pro, and 12.9-inch iPad Pro. But there might be two more coming, according to a new filing with the Eurasian Economic Commission. What isn’t clear is what these models could be. Apple Insider speculates these could be a refresh of the 9.7-inch iPad with a pair of 10.2-inch and 10.5-inch iPads in the works.
