CBS All Access will release a black-and-white version of ‘The Twilight Zone’ in the US

CBS All Access

Here in Canada, Jordan Peele’s take on The Twilight Zone airs on Citytv, but in the US it’s available through CBS All Access. And the streaming service is showing the advantages of having the said service, it can re-release or modify shows in a slightly different format. On May 30th, the show will be coming out with a black-and-white version for the fans who wanted to capture the feel of the original. We aren’t sure if they will keep the original coloured version. But if you’re in the US and hoping to get this version, then you’re in luck. Now, we don’t know if this will make its way here.

The refresh for the iPhone XR might come in two new shades. According to supply chain blog Macotakara, there will still be six colours for the rumoured device. But instead of having coral and blue options, it’ll come in green and lavender. The white, black, yellow and (PRODUCT) RED will be coming back. The iPhone XR is the first iPhone since the iPhone 5C to feature different colour options outside of the usual black, gold, and white. It’s rumoured to be getting Apple’s new A13 processor as well as a dual-camera setup at the back.

Google’s Digital Wellbeing feature might be causing the slowdown in Pixel phones

The intention behind Google’s Digital Wellbeing feature was to get people off their phones more and curb potential smartphone addiction. It lets you track how much time you spend on your phone and what apps you use frequently. But it seems an unwanted side effect is it seems to be slowing down Pixel phones. One Pixel 3 user posted on Reddit that when they turned off Digital Wellbeing, the difference was like “night and day.” The user went as far to recommend to other Pixel 3 users to turn the feature off even if you don’t have any performance issues.

Now, if you want to see if Digital Wellbeing affects your Pixel device, you can turn off the feature by heading into the Settings of your Pixel phone. Choose Digital Wellbeing and then tap on the three-dot icon at the top right corner and select “Turn off usage access.” You can confirm this decision on the next “Usage access” screen. Choose Digital Wellbeing and toggle the “permit usage access” option to off. Google hasn’t responded yet to this The Verge report.
