Gmail for iOS can now show you all your email accounts in a single inbox

Following in the footsteps of the Gmail app on Android, Gmail on iOS will now let you multiple Gmail accounts into one universal inbox. If you have the left-hand side drawer out, the “All inboxes” option there will, as the name suggests, show you all the emails you get from different accounts in one inbox. Google assures that no emails will be shared between accounts, even with this feature enabled. It’ll be coming to Gmail and G Suite users over the next 15 days.

Review: Waze navigation app on Apple CarPlay

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

Apple CarPlay users have been rather limited when it comes to the built-in navigation app. For the longest time, Apple Maps was the default application on CarPlay and it worked in conjunction with Siri for voice commands and for navigating to locations hands-free.

Thanks to iOS 12, however, users who might opt for Google Maps or Waze, can now use these apps for navigation on their Apple CarPlay head units, provided they have the latest version of Apple's software and the apps themselves.

I've tested Waze on Apple CarPlay for the past week on a 2019 Buick Enclave Avenir. This is a luxurious 7-seater SUV decked out with all the finery Buick has been known for. Aside from rear and front moonroofs, heated seats, its own WiFi hotspot and an astounding array of front, rear and 360' parking cameras the Enclave Avenir has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on tap.

Apple watchOS 5.1 update bricks some Apple Watches

It’s always prudent to not update your devices immediately when software updates come out. And that seems to be the case with the new update for Apple’s watchOS platform. The company has already pulled the watchOS 5.1 update, which has bricked some devices after installing it. Some of the users have gotten stuck on the Apple logo as soon as they upgraded to the new operating system. Restarting the Apple Watch and iPhone pairing doesn’t help.

And unfortunately, it seems the only solution Apple has now is sending the units back to be fixed. Not exactly, the best way to start off selling the new Watches or even handling the old ones. According to BBC, one owner has even been told it’ll take the company’s repair staff a week to ascertain if his new Apple Watch Series 4 model needs to be repaired or replaced. It’s unclear how many users are affected by the issue, but this is something Apple has to fix fast.
