Amazon diversifies its Echo product base in Canada with a range of new models

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

Canadians today are spoiled for choice when it comes to smart speakers and smart home technology. Just think that two years ago, we had to sneak in Amazon Echos and Google Homes across the border and run through hoops to enable some fascimile of functionality with these devices.

Today there are literally dozens of smart speaker devices to choose from and Amazon has just made choosing the right device more challenging thanks to its latest fall harvest of devices.

Getting medical prescriptions filled is now going to be easier than ever. Canadian patients across the country will soon be able to have their prescriptions filled securely via their mobile browser. Pillz, the brainchild of doctor-turned-entrepreneur, Mohammad Taher, plans to eliminate the arduous wait times related to prescription pick-up and bills itself as the “Ritual” for pharmacies.

Google's new USB-C headphones offer great sound and innovation for $35

James Gunn might be writing the next 'Suicide Squad' film

In what seems like a calculated move after being fired by Marvel Studios, James Gunn might be moving directly to its rival. Warner Bros. just confirmed that they are in talks with the director to write the next Suicide Squad film. It won't exactly be a sequel supposedly with Gunn said to be taking a different approach. What that means we don't know just yet. The film doesn't have a director yet but if he does end up in that position, we're sure it's going to drum up a lot of buzz. The new Suicide Squad will be produced by Peter Safran. There is no target release date just yet.
