‘Civilization VI’ comes to the iPhone

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI just dropped on the iPhone and brings the PC experience to the smaller smartphone screen. The game has been revamped to fit the format but it contains the same content as the full PC version and has things like local multiplayer and a tutorial for first-time players of Civilization. Now, if you already have the iPad version of the game, the good news is you can install the iPhone port for free. And you’ll be grateful for that, because the game is pricey. Right now, it’s 60 percent off at CA$32.99. You can play the game for free but after 60 turns, you’ll need to shell out the dough.

We might be seeing a new version of the Nintendo Switch in the coming year. A report from The Wall Street Journal claims we might see this updated hardware in the second half of 2019. There aren’t any solid details on what we could expect but one possible upgrade could involve a better LCD screen. It won’t come as a surprise if this happens as Nintendo’s other consoles have had several iterations. And the Switch could use some improvement. Plus, Nintendo will want to keep up its sales momentum in the coming financial year. Nintendo expects to sell 20 million units in the year ending March 2019.
