Razer Phone 2 launch will be on October 10th

October is shaping up to be a busy month for phone launches. Razer just sent out invites for an event on October 10th in Hollywood. While Razer didn’t exactly put that they were launching the Razer Phone 2, you can see the boxy rectangular outline of the phone stamped on it and the words “FLAGSHIP // GAMING.” It’s rumoured that the Razer Phone 2 will keep the shape of the original device. As GSMArena points out, there’s a render from the other day that showed the date October 10 on the lockscreen. The event proper will start at 6:30 p.m. with a keynote from Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan but there will be early previews for “VIPs” ahead of the keynote.

Google Pixel 3’s colours teased by the company

Not much else could be teased about the Google Pixel 3. Or so we thought. A new teaser website from the company’s Japan office shows us the three colours the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL could come in. It comes in mint, white, and black. If you click on the G logo in the site, you’ll see it rotate between the three shades. This approach is similar to the three-colour approach Google did for the Pixel 2. What do you think of the colours? Which one would you get?

Samsung to hold a Galaxy event on October 11th

Something is coming in Samsung’s world and it’s going to be “4X fun.” The company just teased a surprise event for October 11th. Around this time, Samsung usually puts its focus on the Note but it looks like they have more up their sleeve. We aren’t sure what it is but as The Verge reports the invite supposedly said that “Samsung’s newest Galaxy device is bringing more ways to express yourself than ever before.” Are they bringing in a new four-camera smartphone? Does this mean the Galaxy Zoom is coming back? Or perhaps Samsung is ready to show off its foldable phone? The event is coming up but we also won’t be surprised if we hear more details about it ahead of the launch.
