Huawei credits its triple rear camera on the P20 for boost in smartphone sales

China-based Huawei believes its innovations in the smartphone photography category has helped improve their sales drastically. Kevin Ho, Huawei’s president for its phone business, announced during his keynote speech at CES Asia in Shanghai that the company has shipped six million units of its P20 and P20 Pro worldwide. And that shipment of its phones are up by 81 percent when compared to the same 10 week period in 2017, when the P10 was launched. Shipments in China went up by 63 percent, while those outside the country jumped a significant 150 percent.

Ho attributes this significant gain to the triple rear camera on the P20 Pro. He claims that the innovations they’ve put into that flagship phone’s camera have “pushed up shipments of P20 both at home and abroad.” The P20 Pro features the world’s first triple camera system with a 40-megapixel RGB lens, a 20-megapixel monochrome lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.

Netflix saves ‘Lucifer’ from cancellation

Michael Courtney/FOX

Lucifer was one of the shows that we’re put on the chopping block after its third season. We say was as Netflix just picked up the show from Fox. Lucifer’s official Twitter account has confirmed the news. While the show wasn’t a major ratings hit for Fox, its fans wouldn’t take the cancellation lying down, especially with a cliffhanger for an ending in its third season. Now, at least we know the show is coming back for a fourth season. We don’t know yet how many episodes or when it’ll air but we’ll keep you updated when we learn more.
