Sonos Beam is a new new smart soundbar for music and TV

The new Sonos Beam is a versatile smart speaker which serves as a soundbar, an Alexa powered smart speaker and a HDMI and AirPlay 2 enabled speaker whichcan handle streaming content and support for 80+ music services.

The $399 USD Sonos Beam will ship globally starting July 17 and is available for pre-order today on www.sonos.com.

With Beam, Sonos has combined three products into one – a Sonos smart speaker featuring Amazon Alexa, a sound bar that packs more than enough punch for most rooms, and the one device you need for all your music and streaming content in the living room. Like all Sonos speakers, Beam is part of the Sonos home sound system, meaning owners can easily integrate Beam into existing multi-room set-ups.

Motorola unveils Moto Z3 Play and new Moto mods coming this summer for $499

Motrola is continuing on its quest to allow smartphone customization by way of Moto mods. The new Moto Z3 was just announced and this third generation Android device from the Lenovo subsidiary has a well-rounded feature set.

A middling Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor designed for long battery life, 4GB of RAM, a 6-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 32GB of storage and dual 12MP and 5MP AI-powered cameras. A new battery Moto Mod promise more than double the battery life.

At retail, the moto z³ play will be bundled with a battery moto mod for $499. The new moto z³ play will be available this summer in Canada at Videotron, Bell Mobility, Virgin Mobile, MTS, and SaskTel.
