Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ is coming to Netflix

Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld on 'Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee' (Courtesy of Crackle)Jerry Seinfeld is set for a big payday following the latest news that his web series on Crackle will be making a move to Netflix. The comedian’s deal with the streaming service includes 24 new episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee as well as two stand-up specials. Aside from that he’ll also have a developmental role with company where he’ll be helping out for both scripted and unscripted shows. Seinfeld’s camp as well as Netflix’s won’t say how much the deal is but Forbes is estimating he’ll be getting US$750,000 per episode of the Emmy-nominated show (which is reportedly $250,000 more than what he earned from Crackle).

Aside from the $20 million he could earn from the show, the specials might also be coming with a hefty price tag. Chris Rock was reportedly paid $40 million for two specials, we’d assume Seinfeld won’t be getting less than that amount. Except for last year when Kevin Hart out-earned him, Seinfeld has consistently been named by Forbes as the highest-paid comedian and it looks like this might help him regain the title.

‘Super Mario Run’ is coming to Android this March

You probably know that Nintendo’s Super Mario Run is making its way to Android but there wasn’t a specific timeline when it was arriving. That is until Nintendo revealed on Twitter that the game is coming this March. The continuous runner first hit iOS back in December. And while it was considered a hit, it has its fair share of issues including not being able to play it offline and the slightly prohibitive CA$13 price to unlock all the levels (there are no other micro-transactions in the game). This format is expected to carry over to Android. So, if this is something you’re excited about you can pre-register, meaning an email will be headed your way when the game becomes available to play.
