Apple Vision Pro: Why you need to visit an Apple Store to get one

If you want to pick up Apple's Vision Pro headset, you'll need to head to an Apple Store to pick one up. The strategy is similar to how the company launched the original Apple Watch in 2015. When you pick it up at the store, you'll get to demo the new equipment. The in-store appointment also ensures you get a headset that fits you correctly. And if you need prescription lenses, Apple can offer that, too.

Apple plans to sell the Vision Pro for US$3,500 in limited quantities. The company is expected to roll out the Vision Pro first in major markets in the US like Los Angeles and New York.

Vancouver to host 'The Last of Us' Season 2 filming in early 2024

According to a report by Variety, the second season of the hit show The Last of Us will enter production in early 2024. The show, which is based on a video game of the same name, follows Joel and Ellie as they travel across the U.S. to find a cure for a deadly fungal infection. Season 1 of the show was a huge success when it premiered on HBO in January 2023. It was renewed for a second season before the Season 1 finale even aired.

While the exact filming locations of Season 2 have yet to be confirmed, we do know that it will be shot in Vancouver. The city’s mayor Ken Sim confirmed the news on X (Twitter) in March 2023. Season 1 of The Last of Us was filmed in Alberta, including in Calgary, Edmonton, and Canmore.

BlizzCon 2023 has brought some exciting news for Diablo IV fans. The game’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, is set to release in 2024 and will continue the story of the main game. The expansion will feature the return of the Nahantu jungle area from Diablo II and introduce a brand-new character class. Blizzard is promising “new ways to play” and “new evils to vanquish,” too.

Before then, Diablo IV’s third season will feature a new kind of challenge dungeon called The Gauntlet. Here, you’ll fight against other players worldwide for your class ranking. And the first seasonal event for Diablo IV is called Midwinter Blight and will start on December 12, lasting for three weeks. Additionally, there will be a six-week endgame event called Abattoir of Zir starting on December 5.
