Sony Mobile launches four news Xperia X smartphone models in Canada

Sony Mobile announced the availability of its latest smartphone lineup coming to Canada. The Xperia X Series is available starting June 23 at multiple carriers including Bell, Rogers, Virgin Mobile Canada, WIND Mobile, and Videotron. The four models announced earlier and Mobile World Congress this year are coming to Canada.

This is where you can watch Apple’s WWDC keynote

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is almost upon us. The conference is happening in San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on June 13th to 17th but most of the big news will be revealed during the keynote happening on the 13th at 10 a.m. PDT (that’s 1 p.m. in Toronto). If you didn’t score tickets or are just curious about what Apple is bringing to the table. You can watch the live stream of the presentation here or through the WWDC app.

WWDC usually concentrates on the software side with new versions of iOS and Mac OS X coming out. It we can expect Apple to talk about its other products like the Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Music.

Apple outs 8 new amazing ‘Shot on iPhone’ ads

The new ‘Shot on iPhone’ ads highlight the iPhone’s video recording functions and show how creative users can get with them. There’s this fun timelapse clip of penguins that you see above taken by Nicolas D. in Pleneau Bay, Antarctica, which is set to the song “Gossipo Perpetuo” by Jean-Jacques Perrey; a slow-mo clip of a hippo shot by Craig J. in Kasane, Botswana; and six more visually arresting ads. You can now post photos to Instagram from other iOS apps

A feature that’s considered a long time coming is finally here. Instagram finally has a sharing extension added to its iOS app. Android users have long since had this ability to get photos from third-party photo apps. Gone are the days where you’d have to head straight to Instagram and scroll through your feed just to find that one photo you want to use. So now, any apps that support iOS’s official method for sharing can send the photo to Instagram for posting.
