Microsoft brings PC Game Pass to NVIDIA’s GeForce Now service

Microsoft

Microsoft is fulfilling its promise to make PC Game Pass available on NVIDIA’s GeForce Now service. The companies have revealed that Game Pass and Microsoft Store games will be streamable on GeForce Now from August 24th. Although not all games will work immediately, this will let Game Pass members enjoy titles like Deathloop and No Man’s Sky on NVIDIA’s platform.

It might seem strange to access one streaming service’s games through another, but there might be benefits. GeForce Now is designed for enthusiasts who want the best visual quality and low latency, with the Ultimate tier supporting 4K at 120 frames per second. So, Game Pass could perform better on GeForce Now than on other platforms if your PC and internet connection can handle it.

The Starfield wrap costs USD 50 and will ship in Canada, the US, and Europe on October 18. The camo wraps are USD 45 each and will ship on November 10, except for the Arctic option which is not available in Europe yet.

Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario since 1994, is moving into a new role at Nintendo, the company announced on X (formerly Twitter). He will no longer record character voices for their games, including the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Nintendo posted on X that Martinet will become a Mario Ambassador, travelling the world to promote the Mario franchise and engage with fans. “It has been an honour working with Charles to help bring Mario to life for so many years and we want to thank and celebrate him,” Nintendo wrote. “Please keep an eye out for a special video message from Shigeru Miyamoto and Charles himself, which we will post at a future date.”

You can now edit captions on WhatsApp after sending media files

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that lets users edit captions for various media types, such as images, videos, GIFs, and documents, even after they have been sent. To use this feature, you must update your WhatsApp to the latest version (both iOS and Android devices).

The feature's rollout was delayed initially, but it is now widely available. You can check if you have it by long-pressing a recent captioned message. It has a limitation, though. You can only edit captions within 15 minutes of sending them and only from the device that sent them.
