Introducing 'Sesame Street' on HBO

Back in August, Sesame Workshop struck a deal with HBO to allow them to host the next five seasons of the iconic children's program. Now, we get to see what the new move has done to Sesame Street. We're glad to see it hasn't really changed much. We're having trouble embedding the trailer but you can watch it hereThe trailer does show some big stars like Pharell, Tina Fey, and Jon Hamm celebrating the move. And of course we get a Star Wars skit.

The show will premiere on the service on January 16th with back-to-back, 30-minute episodes. The workshop is also planning more episodes for the year and they're targetting 35 episodes, which will be available on PBS in the US nine months after they air on HBO. Aside from that, the deal includes two new spinoff series and over 150 old Sesame Street episodes.

LG claims they've sold 450,000 units of the V10 in 45 days

We like to share good news. And this is good for LG and its employees as the company announced they have sold 450,000 units of its high-end V10 smartphone in the 45 days the device has been available on the market. This development is said to increase LG's share in the larger 5.7" market.

While it hasn't hit the numbers Apple and Samsung does, the V10 shows that there is still a market for unique, flagship devices. This device veers away from LG's popular G Series and sports a second screen on top of the device and dual selfie cameras.

'Twas the night  before Christmas when Asteroid 2003 SD220 passes by and makes its closest approach to Earth. NASA was able to take a few radar images of the asteriod. The space agency assures everyone that this pickled-shape asteroid will not be a threat to our planet at all. It'll pass by the planet at a distance  of 6.8 million miles. As Paul Chodas, manager of NASA's Center for NEO Studies at JPL, said: "The closest this object will come to Santa and his eight tiny reindeer is about 28 times the distance between Earth and the moon." It'll pass by closer to us at 1.8 million miles in 2018 and then 1.7 million miles in 2070.
