Vine launches on Apple Watch

Vine app finally makes its way to Apple's wearable device. What you get for this version is it shows two different feeds: a collection of Featured Vines and Favorites. You're allowed to favorite and re-Vine content in both feeds. Meanwhile, the Featured Vines feed manually refreshes with a tap of a button. There isn't any timeline feed at the moment. But if you want quick access to the app, some custom complications for Apple Watch faces have a link to the app.

With this update, the iOS version now also makes it easier to see related content. All you need to do is swipe left while in any Vine.

Amazon resets some users' passwords, reportedly due to leak

An unidentified number of Amazon users got an  email from the company saying their passwords have been reset due to unidentified reasons. It seems the company is taking a precautionary approach to a possible leak. So, make sure to change your password if you get the email. If you haven't, now's still a good time to update your password.

The email according to ZDNet says Amazon "recently discovered that your password may have been improperly stored on your device or transmitted to Amazon in a way that could potentially expose it to a third party." But according to the email, Amazon also believes no third party got their hands on the passwords.

YouTube Kids App Launches In Canada

Text and photos by Sonya Davidson

Watching videos on YouTube has become very popular over the past few years and every member of my family has gone on to stream something whether it be a clip from last night's Jimmy Fallon show that I've missed or hubby sourcing a "how to" video for some mechanical gadget gone wrong. The kids too are on there mostly for entertainment as they've heard of videos going viral from their friends.

I don't mind as they are a bit older but I still worry about what might pop up after they've viewed their originally searched content. What may seem harmless fun could potentially roll into the next video which has no filter.
