ASUS makes ZenFone 2 Laser available as an unlocked option

I was very impressed by the ASUS ZenFone 2, which offered a large haul of features in an affordable and practical smartphone. ASUS has followed this up with the ZenFone 2 Laser. the premium phone with an excellent camera, dual active SIM, expandable storage and removable battery. The latest addition to the ZenFone 2 lineup features an ergonomic design for greater comfort and a 5.5-inch 1080p display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for unprecedented damage protection.

The ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE551KL) will available for $269 at Staples, Canada Computers, NCIX and Memory Express in November.

Instagram tested out curated video channel on Halloween

It’s not the most imaginative name for a new curated video channel but Instagram has tested its “Best Videos” feature on Halloween. The videos were bundled under the headline “Watch Halloween’s best videos.” From there, users could see everything from dogs dressed as Stormtroopers, Miley Cyrus singing “Ghostbusters,” to video-editing assisted Halloween magic tricks. The feature went live at around 1 p.m. on Halloween and Instagram was said to have added videos for about 24 hours. Users were able to submit their 15-second clips by tagging them with the hashtag #IGHalloween. Perhaps we shall be seeing this feature more in other upcoming holidays and big news events and festivals.

Warner Bros. concedes and now offers refunds for ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ on the PC

Fans have not been too kind to Warner Bros. after the release of Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC was a big dud initially. They have managed to work out the kinks but that’s after a four-month overhaul. But there are some issues that fans don’t seem to want to forgive. That’s why now those who bought the game on the PC are eligible for a refund between now and the end of the year. The refund has an exception: the Arkham Knight season pass is only eligible for a refund with the main game, you can’t return the DLC separately. And it seems not all the versions of the game are eligible for the refund, either. Some users who bought the retail copy of the game can’t seem to get the refund page to load for them. The full details of the refund are on the game’s Steam community page.
