iTunes U gets iPad Pro support, adds new features

iTunes U is getting ready for the release of iPad Pro, which can be marketed in the education segment, with a slew of new features. The version 3.1 of the app gets things like the ability to include images so teachers and students can see how progress is being made on certain activities or even show how to do certain things. The grade book gets a refresh as well. It now shows a student’s average grade within a course, aside from showing minimum, maximum, and average grades in a class for a particular assignment. Apple has also thrown in the usual stability and performance improvements within the app.

ALLDOCK charging dock takes care of all your charging needs

You probably have more than one phone, a tablet, and maybe even a smartwatch and fitness tracker. And maybe you’re having trouble looking for power points to plug them into because other members of your family have multiple gadgets they need to charge, too. That’s where the new ALLDOCK 2015 charging station could help you out. This new Kickstarter project from Dittrich Design is a universal USB charger that can handle everything from smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, to fitness trackers. It’s compatible with the latest gadgets from popular brands such as Apple, LG, Samsung BlackBerry, and Motorola, to name a few. Plus, even if you have multiple gadgets plugged in, it promises to maintain charging power. It’s said to charge your devices quickly, too—up to 80 percent in less than an hour. It’s made with 100 percent natural bamboo and walnut, so quality is assured.

Their goal is to raise €20,000 and there’s 47 days left to back this project. If this is something you think you might need, drop by the link below to help.

Google updates its Chrome browser on iOS platform to bring some key iOS 9 features into its program. The universal iOS app for Chrome gets features like Split View, Slide Over, and Picture-in-Picture—perfect when you need to multitask. However, you probably need to remember that Split View only works on the iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, and soon-to-be-released iPad Pro. The iOS app also gets autofill feature you’ve seen in the desktop version. This works both for the iPad and iPhone.
