Video: Clippy crashes Jimmy Fallon's show during Windows 10 launch segment

Jimmy Fallon is one of the most tech-savvy late night show hosts and has always given props to the latest and greatest technology releases. Fallon talked about the launch of Windows 10 last night and Clippy, the O.G. assistant from Microsoft Office 97, showed up unnanounced and trying to be helpful. Things got out of hand once Clippy saw Fallon's MacBook and, well..reacted rudely.

The Moto G has always been an impressive smartphone not just for the topline features it offered to entry-level and midrange users, but also because Motorola managed to price it affordably and make it available contract-free.

We were impressed by the first generation Moto G as well as the subsequent 2nd Gen which introduced more water resistance as well as 4G-LTE in some markets. The Moto G (3rd Gen) looks to be the best and most refined version so far. It feels solid, well put together and is also lighter and less chunky than its predecessor. 

We're loving the new colour combinations and the removable shells are durable and also water resistant. Here are some shots of the three generations of Moto G devices hanging out together.

Yahoo Livetext will be up for download July 30th

After making its appearance on the Hong Kong App Store, Yahoo’s Livetext is finally heading this way starting tomorrow, July 30^th. What is Livetext, you ask? It’s Yahoo’s new video text app that lets you send texts with videos. The catch? It doesn’t have any sound. Basically, it’s like having people, or rather the person you’re talking to, see you while you text. We’re still not quite sure if this’ll catch on. But if you’re interested in trying this out, the app will be available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store tomorrow. It’s launching here in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., France, and Germany. As mentioned, the app is already available in Hong Kong. It’s also already available in Taiwan and Ireland.

VSCO introduces Collections, lets you curate your favorite shots

VSCO’s newest feature can be considered a cross between Instagram and Pinterest. Collections lets you “connect with” photos taken by other VSCO users by curating them and putting them in your, well, collection. You simply search and explore through VSCO’s feed and double-tap images that catch your eye. These will then be saved into your library. You can then curate them in the Collections part. Those who posted the photos will be notified that their images are part of a collection. Other users can also see what you’ve been curating. This update has rolled out to both VSCO’s iOS and Android apps.
