‘Supergirl’ gets first official trailer

CBS’ Supergirl is one step closer to making its official debut and we get a sneak peek of what we can expect from Superman’s cousin. It’ll be joining the growing ranks of DC adaptations for the small screen, like Arrow, The Flash, and Gotham. It’s created by Arrow and The Flash’s Greg Berlanti and writer Ali Adler. It’s starring Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers a.k.a. Kara Zor-El. She’s also starring alongside Mehcad Brooks, Calista Flockhart, David Harewood, Chyler Leigh, and Lauren Benanti. It’s set to make its debut this November 2015 in the US.

TCL launches premium Roku TV models in the US

TCL announced that seven new TCL Roku TVs will be available later this month in-store and online at major retailers in the US.

Following the launch of three 3700 series models in March, TCL is expanding its 2015 TCL Roku TV lineup with three 3800 Design Series models and four top-of-the-line 3850 Decorator Series models.  The availability of the TCL Roku TV 3800 and 3850 series provides consumers with more choice in finding a smart TV to meet their needs and further positions TCL Roku TV as one of the leading smart TV experiences available today.

Skype Translator is now available for everyone

Microsoft is giving us a glimpse of the future of video chatting with Skype Translator. It’s been available via invite for a while but now they’ve opened the floodgates for everyone. You can now try the service with live translating for English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Italian. Of course, it isn’t as fluid as natively speaking the language, but programs like these are bringing us closer to that reality.
