Make quick, easy-to-remember notes with Notification Reminder

Sometimes you just want to jot down something quickly and be reminded at a later time, like buying milk after work. A new Android app called Notification Reminder will help you do just that. As its name suggests, you can make little notes and reminders that you can access and be reminded of at a later time via notification. You can quickly create notification reminders within three seconds, set a Snooze Reminder, update or share notes, or view your note history. You also have the option to create a reminder that is “clear-able” or one with “Persistent on going notification.” You can have the app close once you create the note.

It’s a simple app that follows Material Design. So, if you just want those quick reminders, you might want to check this out.

Google+ takes on Pinterest with Collections

Google’s social network has been criticized for looking to similar to Facebook. This time, Google+ seems to be borrowing from another more visual social network, Pinterest. Google just launched a new Collections feature that lets its users create content collections based on interests. Collections show a group of posts on a specific topic, it can be shared publicly or to select people, or just for yourself. Once you use this feature, a new Collections tab will show up on your profile.

The new feature is available on the web version and Android. iOS support is coming soon.
