Google loves it up for Valentine’s Day

Google is all about how technology brings us closer together with its Valentine’s Day Doodle. You can see the two o’s in Google texting and flirting, tapping away on their laptops, and even sharing music through a pair of earphones. If you click on the quotes, you can bring up quotes from the likes of Jane Austen, Dante, Sylvia Plath, and the like. You can click on the “Try again” option to cycle through all of them. No matter how you’re spending Valentine’s, we hope you have a good one!

Samsung reportedly shipping Galaxy S6 with Microsoft apps

Microsoft seems to have found a way to infiltrate Android, if reports are to be believed. According to SamMobile, Samsung will reportedly carry Microsoft apps in place of most of their proprietary apps in the Galaxy S6. If there is any truth to this, you can expect to have Office, OneNote, OneDrive, and Skype built into Samsung’s next flagship. We just have to wait a bit until Samsung’s Unpacked event on March 1 to see if there is any credence to this report. But if you want to look for any signs, perhaps the abrupt end of the two companies patent royalty payments might be taken as a clue.

Apple bumps up iOS app size limit to 4GB

Here’s something for the developers out there. Apple is making it easier for you to create high-quality games and apps. The Apple App Store now supports app sizes of up to 4GB. The limit used to be 2GB. Apple hopes the boost will help create a “complete, rich user experience.” However, the one thing that hasn’t changed is cellular download limit is at 100MB per app.
