Review: Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

Samsung is really focusing on what this tiny sliver of slanted screen can offer. They do include various apps and app add-ons that can make use of the Edge display. This is an innovative feature that's still too new and too insular to be considered as anything more than a gimmick. 

Faced by declining sales of its flagship Galaxy S5 as well as mounting competition from Apple, Samsung is trying very hard to innovate in the smartphone space by leveraging its mastery of displays. The answer is the Galaxy Note Edge, which takes the Note 4’s best features, and adds a unique curved edge screen which tapers to the right-hand side of the phone.

Next Pebble smartwatch leaks, expected features include coloured display and microphone

Over a year since it released its Pebble Steel model, smartwatch originator Pebble is set to launch an updated model featuring a coloured display as well as a microphone for voice input or access to services like Google Now and Siri. Pebble has remained the smartwatch to beat, it is a cross platform device that works equally well on Android as it does with iPhones, has a decent five day battery life and is generally more affordable than competing products.

Apple to invest $2 billion for new data centers in Europe

Apple is building two new data centers in Europe and they will be spending €1.7 billion. The money will be spent for construction and operation. The state-of-the-art facilities will be in Central Jutland Region of Denmark and County Galway in Ireland. These centers will be powering Apple’s online services like iTunes Store, iMessages, App Store, Siri, and Maps for European users.

These data centers will be powered by 100% clean and renewable energy sources. Apple will also team up with local partners to create more renewable energy projects for future use.

Leaked specs and photos of the HTC One M9 surface

If you can’t wait until the March 1 Mobile World Congress launch of HTC’s One M9 flagship, then maybe some product leaks might tide you over? Mobile Geeks have come across the online listing of the HTC One M9, including spec sheet, press images, and 749 euros price tag in Germany.

It still looks like the HTC One we know today with BoomSound speakers framing the 5-inch 1080p display. Some of the other specs enumerated include Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion, and a new 20-megapixel camera at the rear and UltraPixel front camera. It will reportedly be powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI. It will be available in a two-tone look of gold and silver or gunmetal gray.
