Apple unveils new holiday ad

Following last year’s “Misunderstood” ad, Apple has just released on its site its new holiday ad. Entitled “The Song,” the concept behind it involves a girl who discovers a gift from her grandmother to her grandfather from 1952. It was an old record that has a message talking about how they couldn’t be together for the holidays as well as a rendition of “Love is Here to Stay” by her grandmother. The young girl learned the tunes and vocals of the song and recorded her portions and put it alongside her grandmother’s. She then leaves an iPad mini with a note that says, “A Duet, Press Play” for her grandmother to find.

I’ve owned the original Pebble and had a chance to try the more elegant (although functionally identical) Pebble Steel which is available from Future Shop along with various metal and leather strap accessories.

Review: Amazon Kindle (2014)

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

The journey of Amazon's Kindle eBook reader has been one of constant distillation and simplification. For the past seven years, this device has grown by reducing everything from the number of buttons to the type of functionality it offers. The result is arguably the best and most no-nonsense tool to read on-the-go.
