Rumours of an HTC One (M8) Max surfaces

There are already two variants of the One (M8) out on the market and rumours have surfaced from China that HTC plans to unveil the phablet version of their flagship. The HTC One (M8) Max is tipped to carry a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, Sense 6.5, and the latest Android operating system. It will also reportedly sport an 18-megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization and 3000mAh battery. There is no official word from HTC if this will be an actual device. We’ll keep you posted for any confirmation or denials of this device.

Various iCloud services currently down

It seems that various iCloud-dependent services from Apple are currently down or not working. After getting complaints from users on Twitter, we checked Apple's System Status page and sure enough, various iCloud related services are currently unavailable. We'll keep monitoring the situation and update status as soon as we know more.

Adobe is bringing Photoshop to Chromebooks for education

Looks like Adobe is open to throwing Google's Chromebooks a bone. Reports that Photoshop will be made available for Chromebooks geared towards education.

As part of Adobe's Creative Cloud software, which will soon be available for Chromebooks for education users who have a paid creative cloud membership.

The initial version of Photoshop will be a "streaming" version of Photoshop. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and whether it will entice more users to consider Chromebooks as a substitute personal computing platform.

Nokia's Lumia 830 to be launched next week, coming to Rogers

There's a new midrange Windows Phone model coming to Canada from Nokia. The Lumia 830, which is a Windows 8.1 device expected to come to Rogers, will feature a 5-inch 720p HD display,  7, a 1.2Ghz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage and microSD expansion. A more modest 10MP PureView camera with OIS will serve as this device's camera.
