Hackers steal 1.2 billion passwords from 420,000 US websites 

Said to be the biggest data breach ever, Russian hackers have apparently stolen over 1.2 billion passwords and user credentials from over 420,000 US based websites and companies. The report from US Firm Hold Security states, "To the best of our knowledge, they mostly focused on stealing credentials, eventually ending up with the largest cache of stolen personal information, totalling over 1.2 billion unique sets of e-mails and passwords." According to the security firm, they dubbed the hacker group CyberVor, using the Russian word "vor," for thief. This breach once more brings attention to the vulnerability of online information, specially the user credentials that users entrust companies and services they use. New Yahoo Mail iOS App pushes at-a-glance information and news

Yahoo has released a new iOS app for Yahoo Mail. When you first open the Yahoo Mail app, you’ll see your Yahoo Mail inbox and a new panel with icons for Mail, News and Today. This is where all your news, information, and communications come together in one integrated experience.
Yahoo Mail offers smart search suggestions – including both people and messages – to help you narrow down your search.

The app filters your search results by messages, files or photos, and you can easily scroll through them to find what you're looking for. This feature will be rolling out over the next couple of days.

The latest version of the Yahoo Mail app is available in both English and French it provides a simple way to access your Mail, news, and other information all within a single app. Download the app in the App Store and Google Play.

‘Evolve’ release gets pushed back to February 2015

Evolve joins a line of high-profile games—such as Battlefield: Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition—that have pushed back their release dates. Publisher 2K Games announced during their financial statement that the co-op shooter will make its debut on February 10, 2015. Evolve will be available on the Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One, and PC.

Koodo humanizes the charging station, has customer's backs

Running around looking for an outlet to recharge your device is so last year. Koodo's Mobile Mobile Charging Station are walking battery chargers that the company is deploying around the city.

Throughout August and September, Koodo will be deploying these walking battery chargers at some of Toronto’s biggest events, from food festivals to the hottest film fest in town.
