OnePlus One to deliver Android L ‘within three months’ of Google’s release

In case any of you have been wondering if Android’s upcoming operating system will be making its way to the OnePlus One device, wonder no more. A representative from the company posted on its forum announcing that the device will be “getting the L treatment” within three months of Google’s release of the final build. OnePlus One currently uses CyanogenMod’s 11S build, a highly modified version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. We’d like to see how they’d treat Android’s upcoming OS.

iPad finally gets Facebook Messenger

It took Facebook a while but now iPad users are getting the standalone Messenger app. You can now use the iPad to shoot silly videos to send to your friends and save these on the device’s Camera Roll; send free texts and calls; as well as share photos and voice messages. It might even be easier to use the app on the larger screen. You can download Facebook Messenger here.

Sonos demoes Playbar, Sub and Play 1 speakers during FIFA World Cup games

Sonos recently demoed its Playbar, Sub and Play 1 wireless streaming speakers when it hosted viewings of the FIFA World Cup games. Showing how immersive an experience their wireless speaker can offer viewers, they connected it to a a 70” Sony BRAVIA 4K TV. Sonos showed how easy it was to set up their speakers and how dynamic it is as a solution to cinematicHDTV setups.  With ultra clear picture coming from the Bravia 4K set as well as stunning surround sound from the Sonos speakers and subwoofer, the thrill and excitement of the matches was intesified. Sonos products were also recently made available for preorder on Amazon.ca.

Apple reportedly hires TAG-Heuer's sales director for....you know

The cauldron of iWatch-related intrigue continues to bubble with reports that Apple's just hired away TAG-Heuer's sales director.

Jean Claude Biver, president of LVMH's watch division (comprised of Luis Vuitton, Hublot, Zenith, TAG-Heuer) said as much during a taped interview with CNBC (see below). He also makes a straight faced reference to the iWatch, an as of yet unnanounced yet widely speculated on future product.
