Google releases Android Wear app on Play Store

With LG’s G Watch smartwatches already making its way to buyers, Google has just released the Android Wear application on Google Play. This will make it easier to manage your new device. It will let you setup the device and allow the smartwatch to send you the alerts you want as well as set voice action preferences. According to Ubergizmo, there are currently six apps up and running for the device and we expect more to support Android Wear in the coming weeks and months.

LG G3 to arrive in Canada this August

Are you ready to get your hands on LG’s latest flagship? Well, your wait is almost over. LG has announced that it will be bringing the G3 to the country starting August 1. It will be available through Bell, MTS, Rogers, Sasktel, and Videotron. You can also get it through national retailers like Tbooth wireless, The Source, WIRELESSWAVE, WIRELESS etc…, and WOW mobile. Now, you just have to wait a bit more before you can pair your incoming G Watch with the G3.

WIND Mobile opens new retail stores in Brantford

WIND Mobile is widening its reach across the country with further expansion of services in southwestern Ontario. The carrier has opened two new WIND retail stores in Brantford. WIND currently has 1,412 sites on air across the country and is 100% HSPA+ enabled, which offers Canadians speeds of up to 21Mbps. If you are interested in visiting the new WIND stores, there is one close to Laurier’s Brantford campus and another standalone kiosk at Lynden Park Mall.

LG G Watch smartwatches now shipping to Canadian buyers

Canadians who pre-ordered the LG G watch from the Google Play store last week right after Google I/O are starting to get shipping notices that their new Android Wear devices are in the mail.
