Review: Sony SRS-X9 ultra premium personal speaker


Despite creating a beautiful, feature-rich and well thought-out wireless speaker, Sony’s SRS-X9 fails to deliver enough low-end sound for a high-end audio product.

The wireless audio phenomenon in consumer tech is huge and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. It’s into this already crowded category that Sony is throwing three new contenders for your wireless speaker dollars. The biggest and baddest of the three is the SRS-X9, a sophisticated-looking all-in-one affair that straddles the line between bookshelf speaker and home theatre sound-bar.

iRing is the first motion controller for iOS music apps

iRing, the first motion controller for music apps and more, is now available from music and electronics retailers worldwide.

iRing is an affordable, wearable technology system that gives users a new level of gestural control over their favorite music apps, in real-time, using hand positioning for unprecedented music expression. 

The iRing system consists of two double-sided “rings” to wear comfortably on the fingers along with a series of apps that are able to detect the iRings’ accurate positions in space using the device’s camera.

Takashi Murakami featured in Contemporary Asian Arts exhibit in Toronto

Fans of contemporary asian arts take note! Highly sought after works by some of the most well-known asian artists have taken over Waddington's Auctioneers in the first-ever selling exhibition. Artists include Takashi Murakami, Tomio Miki, Nobuo Sekine, Koje Enokura, Ayako Rokkaku, Tatsuya Matsushita, Masashi Nishizono, Wu Junyoung, William Ho, Zhang Yuanfung, Ju Ting, Chen Minguhui, and Liu Lin. 

The exhibition features 43 works in total and what's unique about this particular show is the pieces are available for straight forward purchase by the general public.
