Sony Canada offers Xperia Z2 tablet now, pre-order of Xperia Z2 smartphone 

Sony Canada is bringing more of the company’s latest products to us. This time around the Xperia Z2 tablet and Xperia Z2 smartphone can be yours pretty soon. The Z2 tablet is available on Sony Store for $529.99 for the 16GB model and $599.99 for the 32GB flavour and will come in white or black. According to Android Headlines, the tablets are in backorder status at the moment and they are just expecting inventory to be replenished in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the Z2 smartphone is up for pre-order and is expected to be available in stores by June. Sony will be offering the unlocked version on the Sony Store (both online and retail) for $699.99. Colour options will be black first and then the white and purple versions will come later. The smartphone will work with almost all providers in Canada, including WIND and Videotron. The Xperia X2 has AWS or Band 4 support over HSPA+ as well as Band 7 (2600Mhz) and Band 17 (700Mhz) over LTE.

Tumblr’s mobile apps get full customization options

Tumblr users no longer have to rely on their PCs to tweak their blogs. A new update for the iOS and Android apps lets users tweak everything from headers to colors to themes to styles. According to Tumblr, users have over 3.3 billion combinations to choose from and all of these can be done on the smartphone. The changes you make on the smartphone will reflect on the PC and vice versa.

Chromebook invasion continues with two new models from ASUS

ASUS announced two new Chrome OS laptops powered by latest energy-efficient Intel Bay Trail-M processors. Available in two screen sizes — the 11.6-inch C200 model and 13.3-inch C300 — ASUS Chromebooks are designed for outstanding mobility and feature up to 10 hours battery life for all-day use.
