Sonos unveils refreshed Controller app for Android, iOS version to follow

Sonos aims to make it easier for you to navigate through its Controller application with 5.0 version of the app. Central to the app’s redesign is the search function. It lets users look for any artist, song, or album across the many services Sonos uses (such as Rdio, Spotify, Pandora, iTunes, etc.). The user interface is easier to navigate and it lets you control multiple rooms at once. You can choose to play different songs from various services or have everything playing the same thing. A discovery feature has also been added to help you find new tunes. The iOS update will reportedly come out in the spring.

Google's Chromecast officially available for Canadians

At long last, Google's answer to Apple TV, the Google Chromecast, is officially available for Canadians. The WiFi-ready TV add-on, thus far, has only been available north of the border, though many-a-canuck have bought it and used it here since it first launched. At just $39, which is four dollars more than what it costs in the US, Canadians are now 'officially' able to push content from their iOS or Android phone, directly to their HDMI-ready TV's.

Chromecast also works on other Google products like Chrome to push content directly from your PC or laptop to a nearby TV.

We've already given you our hands-on impressions on LG's G Flex curved smartphone and we're looking forward to reviewing the device in an upcoming review. In the meantime, here are some more images of the LG G Flex in all it's bent glory. The device is very similar to the LG G2 in design language but it is bigger and the curved shape does take some adjustment. Despite being called G-Flex, it isn't very pliable and is quite solid. This one's a Rogers exclusive coming 'later this Spring'.
