First look at Sony's Alpha A7 camera

We checked out Sony's stunning Alpha A7 full-frame mirrorless camera at their recent dealer show in Toronto. Merging the best aspects of the compact NEX line and the high-end full-fram Alpha line, the A7 is reasonably compact but features a 24-megapixel full-frame sensor and will shoot sensor-cropped images with NEX mount lenses. Sony is coming out with full-frame lenses to complement the Alpha A7. The more expensive A7r has a 36 megapixel full-frame sensor, it is geared towards photographers who print large-format work.

Pebble users on Android who've been hankering for the new app store can now go and get it through Google Play. iOS users enjoyed a head start, but now the playing field has been leveled and Pebble owners can enjoy their smartwatch the way it was meant to be. Evernote introduces handwriting and highlighting support to Android

 

 

Evernote wants to help you jot down notes easier with new handwriting support on its Android app. The pen icon on top of the app will let you start scribbling away with a stylus or your fingers. Beta testers of the feature claim it works best with stylus-friendly devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note series. Evernote also added a highlighter to the updated app as well as the ability to create note links and duplicate notes. The camera also has better and faster focusing.

HTC launches budget-friendly Desire 310

HTC unveiled a new budget device in Taiwan meant to provide value for money for its users. It runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 4.5-inch screen, 5-megapixel rear camera, and BlinkFeed stream on top off Android operating system. It also comes with an Offline Reading mode to let you read up to 120 articles on your personal feed without Wi-Fi or data. There is no specific price yet but they will offer “maximum value” and will be available in Taiwan by April.
