Review: The 2013 GMC Terrain

On first impression, the GMC Terrain is an attractive crossover SUV. Not as big - or intimidating - as its cousin the Equinox, think Hummer H2 of past, but large enough to still feel confident on the roads regardless of the conditions in your way. Curate recipes on your iPad with Zest

If you want to consolidate the recipes you get from different sites and even get a step-by-step guide, the Zest app for the iPad might be worth your time. The app lets you search and import recipes from different recipe sites and organize these according to tags, ingredients or categories. It collects the photos from the sites you took them from but you can also add your own photos of the dish once you’ve done preparing them.

You can even edit the recipes to swap ingredients or add or take out any specific items. Zest will walk you through the entire cooking process, complete with a built-in timer that tells you when to flip or rotate a dish. You can even share the recipes with other people. The app is currently up for free download here.

Intel pulls plug on internet TV due to lack of content deals

Chip maker Intel announced back in February 2013 that the company will try their luck in the Web TV market. Now, the company is reportedly planning to sell off the Intel Media business unit to Verizon. Why did things change?

Intel CEO Brian Krzanich told Recode that the project wasn’t getting the necessary content deals despite the product being a “great device” equipped with “great technology.” “When you go and play with the content guys, it’s all about volume. And we come at it with no background, no experience, no volume,” he said.
