OS X Mavericks to add enhancements and battery life to existing Macs for free

Apple's Craig Federighi is up on stage talking about OS X Mavericks and he says the new OS, expected to come later this month, will add an hour of battery on existing MacBook Airs. There are also a number of new features coming to Mavericks like iCloud Keychain, Maps, iBooks as well as updated versions of native apps like Safari. Mavericks will  be available today for free.

Apple iPhone 5c and 5s biggest launch ever- Tim Cook

Apple CEO Tim Coolk started today's event by talking about iPhone and iOS 7. He said that the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c launch last month was the most successful iPhone launch yet. He went on to say that over 64 per cent of users have upgrated to iOS 7, the latest and greatest version of the iPhone and iPad OS.

Nokia World reveals new 6-inch Lumia smartphone and 10-inch Windows RT tablet

Nokia's Lumia line of Windows Phone devices is now complete at least in terms of size. Aside from various 4-inch and 4.5-inch smartphones the company has released through the past two years we now have a 6-inch supersized smartphone in the Lumia 1520 as well as a Windows RT tablet with a 10-inch screen, LTE connectivity and specialized covers in the Lumia 2520.  Nokia revealed a total of six new devices, new accessories, Nokia experiences and third-party developer applications.
