Fujifilm expands mirrorless camera line with X-M1 ILC

There's now more retro ILC (Interchangeable Lens Camera) goodness coming from Fujifilm Canada. the company today announced the all new, premium Fujifilm X-M1 compact system camera (CSC), the third interchangeable lens system camera introduced within the award-winning Fujifilm X Series. The X-M1 is a lightweight camera that includes the same 16.3 Megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor used in the critically acclaimed Fujifilm X-Pro1 and X-E1. The X-M1 comes in July for $700 in black or silver body and $800 with a  f/3.5-5.6 16-50mm (24-76mm equivalent) lens. Pricing and performance may make the X-M1 a game changer, attracting more users to look into Fujifilm's ever growing system.

Samsung opens classroom doors with Samsung School digital solutions

After pilot testing Samsung School in BC and Alberta, Samsung Electronics Canada is making this digital classroom solution commercially available. The technology offers a completely integrated one-to-one education solution by combining tablets and displays to be used for more interactive, student-focused learning environment in K-12 classrooms.

Samsung School consists of Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets for students and teachers and Samsung School software licenses. It also comes with an easy-to-use learning management system that helps teachers with their course administration and content management. Other Samsung components can be added including a 55- or 65-inch digital e-Board, wireless printer, notebook PC, and an AllShare Cast dongle. Check this link for more information.
