LG updates its sleek Gram laptop line

LG also brought some new laptops at CES 2023. And the most notable one is the new LG Gram 2-in-1 laptop. It comes in 14-inch and 16-inch models and weighs around 2.7 pounds. These new laptop/tablet hybrids run on the 13th-generation Intel Raptor Lake processors, 8GB to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage. If you're not bringing it around, you can plug these into external monitors via a pair of USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports. The LG Gram also comes with a USB 3.2 port and a microSD port.

The tech brand also introduced a new LG Gram Style laptop with this pearlescent finish that hides the touchpad when not in use. There's also a new Ultraslim model that comes in at only 2.2 pounds and 11mm thick. LG hasn't shared pricing yet, but it's coming to markets like the US in February.

HP Eco Edition laptop is made from recycled materials like cooking oil

One of the products HP brought to CES is a laptop made from recycled post-consumer materials. The HP 14-inch Eco Edition is considered its most eco-friendly one to date. It is made with 50% recycled aluminum in the display cover and 50% post-consumer recycled plastics in its keycaps. The back cover even embeds used cooking oil to help uniquely deal with the issue.

This Eco Edition laptop doesn't sacrifice performance, though. It runs on a 13th-generation Intel processor, up to 1TB of storage, up to 16GB of dedicated RAM, either Full HD or QHD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a Full HD webcam.

Limited-edition Mercedes-AMG SL 63 gets an F1-inspired paint job

Fans of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 team will love this collector's edition of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+. The supercar gets a two-tone gradient paint job inspired by the Mercedes-AMG F1 W3 E Performance race car used for the 2022 F1 season. The colour gradation goes from metallic silver to metallic black with Mercedes' star pattern on the back.

It has two options for the interiors: black leather with red stitching or black leather with yellow stitching. There are also two ways to black out the limited-edition SL 63's exterior. The Night package dips the front splitter, mirror caps, side sill panels, and decorative trim in the rear diffuser in black. Meanwhile, Night II adds black chrome features to the radiator grille, typography, and the Mercedes star at the back.

On top of the cosmetic upgrade, the SL 63 gets an improved ALG Aerodynamics package for better aerodynamics, improved driving at high speeds, and better overall efficiency. It also gets a 3D surround sound system, ambient lighting, the MBUX interior assistant, a heads-up display, and the driving assistance package.

Withings U-Scan brings a urine lab into your home

Your pee can tell a lot about your health, so Withings is banking on that with its new U-Scan device. This urine analyzer attaches to the front of your toilet like a scent puck. When you pee, it can collect a sample of your urine to analyze and send the results to your phone. 

It can monitor your hydration and nutrient levels, and test your urine's pH levels to determine your overall kidney health. You swap out the cartridges for it to track different things like one is used to track menstrual cycles. A cartridge is said to last for about three months of testing.
