Review: iPhone 4 on Telus

We've been testing the iPhone 4 on Telus for four weeks. We've compared it to an iPhone 3GS as well as a Google Nexus One which were our previous smartphones that we used daily. Here are our impressions.

Breaking News: Free Google phone calls from GMail

Google expanded GMail's functionality by adding the ability to make calls directly from the mail interface. The cloud based service is available to customers in Canada and the US and gives you unlimited free calling to those to countries for the remainder of 2010. There are also competitive international rates that rival that of Skype. GMail subscribers just need to sign into their accounts and follow the installation steps or mosey on to http://www.google.com/chat/voice.

Review: HP Pavilion Dv7 notebook with Intel Core i7

One of the great paradoxes of modern day computing is that desktop computers continue to get smaller and more energy efficient while notebook computers have increased in screen-size, features and capabilities. At the top of the "desktop-replacement" category of 17-inch notebooks is HP's Dv7-4090ca, its a Blu-Ray slinging, 7-pound weighing, do-it-all notebook that rings in at $1,400 and banishes the thought that you should ever want a desktop PC.

Preview! Samsung Galaxy Tab 7' inch Android tablet

Here's a recently leaked video from Mobileburn.com of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab we wrote about back in June. From the video we learn it will be launched on September 2, 2010, will run Android OS 2.2, it has video calling capability and e-reader functionality and the 7-inch form factor allows it to be held with one hand.
