Apple has started rolling out a new update for iOS 16 that fixes the shaky footage problem experienced by iPhone 14 and 14 Pro cameras in third-party apps. Version 16.0.2 also deals with the overbearing "Allow Paste" notification that asks you every time you try to paste an item from one app to another. It also fixes other issues like VoiceOver not working after a reboot and touch input issues on older iPhones (iPhone X, iPhone XR and iPhone 11) after being serviced.

Apple iPhone 15 Ultra tipped to replace Pro Max moniker, major redesign expected

Apple might be changing around the branding for its most premium iPhones. In his Power On  newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be rebranded to the iPhone 15 Ultra in 2023. This change could also coincide with the most significant redesign for the iPhone since the iPhone 12 came out in 2019. Gurman claims one of the biggest changes would be the shift to USB-C.

While this is far off, one of the immediate news Gurman talked about is the lack of another Apple event this fall. He claims the company will have new Mac mini, MacBook Pro, and iPad Pro models to launch before the year ends. However, these will be iterative, so Apple is "more likely" to share the products through press releases instead.

New Google Pixel Watch leak shows retail box

The new Google Pixel Watch is a week away from its debut, and the leaks have been steadily coming in. One of the latest ones shows the retail box of the upcoming watch. Instead of going the long and narrow route, Google is opting for a small rectangular box.

It features the multicolour G logo, the Google Pixel Watch name, and a bit of the case and band in an angled shot of the device. We're assuming the cover will show the case and band colour of the option you choose. The bottom right corner of the box has the words "with Fitbit," reminding users of the company's acquisition of the fitness tech company. If the retail box is showing up this early, we're assuming the smartwatch has made its way to retailers and should hit shelves soon after its reveal on October 6.
