Apple unveils the full trailer for its first full-length 3D movie, Luck. The film is the first movie to come out of its exclusive deal with Skydance Animation. Luck follows Sam Greenfield, an unlucky lady who finds her fortune changes when she stumbles into the Land of Luck. It'll drop on Apple TV+ on August 5. Characters are voiced by a pretty incredible cast, including Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Whoopi Goldberg, Jane Fonda, and more.

CD Projekt Red debuts 'Gwent: Rogue Mage' single-player game

Source: CD Projekt Red

CD Projekt Red just introduced a new single-player title inspired by the Gwent card game in The Witcher series. Gwent: Rogue Mage is a roguelike deck builder with players entering a procedurally-generated map. You will fight your way through monsters and bosses using a deck of card-based abilities.

Gwent: Rouge Mage is set hundreds of years before The Witcher 3 events. You'll play as the mage Alzur as he attempts to make the first-ever Witcher. However, this game isn't considered an official addition to The Witcher lore. You can purchase the game for $13.99 on the Google Play Store, iOS App Store, Steam, and GOG Store.

EU consumers can unsubscribe to Amazon Prime in two clicks

The new Amazon cancellation process includes a “prominent and clear” cancel button and short explanatory text. (Source: The Next Web)

It will be much easier for consumers in the EU to unsubscribe to Amazon Prime. It'll now let EU and European Economic Area consumers unsubscribe from the service with just two clicks, using a prominent and actual "cancel" button. The last option required several steps and a method the EU calls "confirm shaming" that makes users feel like they'll lose out if they continue the process.

Extensive lobbying by EU and EEA consumer organizations helped bring about this change. They even penned a 2021 report entitled, "You Can Log Out, But You Can Never Leave." This is a change we definitely hope to see implemented on more platforms and in more countries.

Ubisoft announces 'The Division Resurgence' mobile game

Ubisoft has officially announced its upcoming free-to-play The Division mobile game. The Division Resurgence will be an open-world, third-person RPG shooter similar to the mainline games. There will be single-player and co-op modes, allowing you to face off against the environment in story missions and other "PvE activities."

The Division Resurgence will take place in the same universe as The Division and The Division 2, but its story is "independent" from the original. It promises a "unique perspective on key story events." The Division Resurgence will introduce new characters and weapons, too. We don't know yet when the app is coming to Android and iOS. But Ubisoft says it's coming "soon." For now, the developer plans to run a closed alpha, where selected players can test the game after signing an NDA.
