Samsung rumoured to launch its 55" Odyssey Ark monitor in August

Source: Samsung

Ever wanted a monitor that can tower over you? Samsung actually announced something like that at CES at the start of the year. Now, the company is reportedly gearing up to launch the 55-inch curved Odyssey Ark monitor in August. Korean outlet ETNews reports that the massive display has undergone some certification programs it needs before it goes on sale.

We don't know much about the Odyssey Ark, except it has a 16:9 4K panel with a stand supporting pivot, tilt, and rotation. We don't know how much Samsung plans to sell, but at least now we have a timeline to watch out for when it will be released.

Nothing opens pre-order reservations for the phone (1)

Source: Nothing

Nothing is unsurprisingly taking its pre-order strategy from founder Carl Pei's former company, OnePlus. The upcoming phone (1) can be bought first through an invitation system. The company opened pre-order reservations in the countries it's available via an invitation code system. The private community members will go first and have 48 hours to use their code. They then need to place a £20 (around $32) non-refundable deposit to secure that order opportunity on July 12. Those who don't make it can sign up for the waiting list.

If you push through with your order, Nothing will deduct that deposit from your purchase and give you an extra £20 credit for either a phone (1) accessory or the ear (1) earbuds. We don't know yet how much the phone will cost. But we know it won't be making its way here for general sale.

Samsung might not release a Fan Edition version of the Galaxy S22

Source: Samsung

After just a couple of years, Samsung is reportedly no longer planning to release a Fan Edition version of its flagship smartphones. SamMobile cites unnamed "multiple sources" that it won't make a Fan Edition model of this year's Galaxy S22. The company might be finding it difficult to place the device within its portfolio. The S21 FE was released almost a full year after the S21, and it came out just a few weeks before the Galaxy S22 was unveiled. It proved difficult to get people to care about the S21 FE when the new S22 flagships were launched.

Will you miss the Galaxy S22 FE? Let us know what you think?
