IKEA has a portable wireless charger

Ever thought you'd want to get your hands on a portable wireless charger? IKEA seems to have a new wireless charger that offers just that. The Nordmärke Qi charger was spotted online by some Reddit users. In Germany, a reader of media outlet mobiFlip shared details on the device after purchasing it in Cologne.

The charger retails for €20 (around CA$29 converted), and it comes with a 6,500mAh battery. As with typical wireless chargers, the Nordmärke Qi charger only charges at a very slow 5W. It also doesn't come with a power adapter or USB cable. But its internal batteries are user-replaceable. It might not be as practical as the Sjömärke wireless charging pad you can hide under your wooden desk, but it's here, whether you need it or not. It isn't available online yet, so we aren't sure if it'll make its way to other markets.

Tesla introduces an all-electric Cyberquad for kids

Tesla has quietly introduced a new four-wheel ATV built for kids. The Cyberquad for Kids is available to order from Tesla's site in the US for US$1,900 (around CA$2,440 converted). This pint-sized Cyberquad is built for kids ages eight years old and up.

It comes with a steel frame, cushioned seat, and adjustable suspension with rear disk braking. It even has LED light bars to complete that cyberpunk aesthetic. It reaches a top speed of 10mph, and it has three speed settings: 5mph, 10mph, and 5mph in reverse. The battery has up to 15 miles of range and needs up to five hours to complete a charge. Battery range can be affected by factors like a user's weight, the riding terrain, and the speed setting.

'Pokémon Go' is now playable at higher frame rates on iOS

Niantic has rolled out new updates to the Pokémon Go app, and for iOS users, you now have the option to play the game at higher frame rates. There's a new option that lets you "unlock your device's native refresh rate for higher FPS." The developer didn't mention the feature specifically in the changelog, so it might fall under the "various quality-of-life improvements" section. You can enable the functionality in the game's advanced settings. It'll show "native refresh rate unlocked" when it's enabled.

The feature is disabled by default, so you'll need to dig in the settings to access it. Before this update, players needed to use workarounds to get Pokémon Go running at 60 frames per second instead of 30fps. With this development, iPhone 13 Pro users can enjoy the game at 120fps. It'll work with older iPhones, but the hardware might not be able to handle it.
