BLACKPINK partners with CASETiFY for accessories collection

The limited-edition lineup includes iPhone and Samsung smartphone cases, Apple Watch bands, AirPods and iPad cases, and more. iOS 16 will reportedly drop support for iPhone 6s & 6s Plus, 1st-gen iPhone SE

It's still very early in the rumour cycle to verify any reports, but we wanted to share what you might expect from the next version of iOS. Online publication iPhoneSoft reported that Apple plans to drop a few iPhone devices from its support roster when the iOS 16 drops next year. The site got its information from someone running an internal seed, claiming the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, and original iPhone SE will no longer be supported. 

On the iPad side, iPadOS 16 will reportedly be incompatible with iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2, fifth-generation iPad, and 2015 iPad Pro models. If the report is accurate, it still demonstrates how long the company supports its older hardware.

TikTok is testing a new repost option

TikTok might offer a way for you to repost your favourite videos on the platform, with a new experiment with a "Repost" button. I've spotted it on my personal TikTok account. And as social media consultant Matt Navarra noted, these reposted videos are only going to show up to your followers and not on your profile. The option is also just available on the For You page and not on your Following page. 

So far, I can't find a way to access them once I've refreshed my feed. But when you've reposted a video, it'll show above the username that you've reposted the video (as you see in the screenshots above). I've tried reaccessing the video through Hank Green's profile, but the indicator that I've reposted isn't visible there.

The feature is still in beta, so that might still change around or work differently in the future. As 9to5Mac noted, the test shows that the company is aware people are looking for ways to share their favourite TikTok videos on the platform. There is no way to do so right now outside this feature.

Google won't let users control OnHub routers at the end of 2022

Google doesn't want to give OnHub router owners a way to control their devices past December 19, 2022. The company won't let users change settings on the device past that date. It can still offer a Wi-Fi signal, but there won't be any troubleshooting beyond that. 

The OnHub routers were built by Google (with help from brands like TP-Link and ASUS) to look like stylish little devices you can easily place in your home. It allowed you to improve the Wi-Fi connection without the gadget sticking out like a sore thumb. But now, Google wants you to migrate to its Nest Wifi system. It's even offering a 40 percent discount off the total price to OnHub owners who wish to make the switch.
