If you are one of the super-rich looking for an alternative to Samsung's The Wall, LG offers an option. Clubhouse experiments with a new way to get your friends to chat on the app

Photo by Josh Rose on Unsplash

Clubhouse is trying out a new feature that could keep you on the app longer than usual. Or at least just use it beyond listening to different talks on the social audio platform. App researcher Jane Manchun Wong discovered a new "Wave" button, which you can use to let your friends know that you want to chat.

If the company rolls this feature out, the new button will appear on users' profiles. It'll look similar to the Wave button you see first when you connect with someone on Facebook Messenger. When you tap on it, it'll let your friend know you want to chat, and then Clubhouse will open a room for you if they respond.

OnePlus 9 update brings improved camera performance, 'Hasselblad Xpan' setting

Both devices are getting an Xpan Mode that replicates the look of Hasselblad's Xpan film cameras. It will include an aspect ratio of 65:21 and a very wide mode with two focal lengths (30mm and 45mm). When you preview a shot, there are frame lines you'll see through the lens of an XPan camera. And when you take a picture, there will be an animation of negative film developing. The update also brings two film simulation effects—color and black and white. Hasselblad is working on the latter with OnePlus.
