'Final Fantasy XIV Online' 'Endwalker' expansion pre-order begins, scheduled for November 23 release

The fourth expansion pack of Final Fantasy XIV Online now has a release date. Endwalker will arrive on November 23. Square Enix revealed the release date during its Digital Fan Festival 2021. The game is now available for pre-order at USD 39.99 (around CAD 48.42) for the standard edition. There are also collector's editions available.

The second job added to the game is the scythe-wielding "Repear," who can deal damage with melee attacks and summon avatars during close-quarter combat. The game will have new explorable areas, new tribes, and new threats. There will also be the new playable male Viera race.

Apple Music for Android APK teardown shows details on possible lossless offering

The Apple Music app on Android seems to have revealed new details on the company's rumoured lossless offering. 9to5Google found code snippets referring to two different tires of high-fidelity audio—"Lossless" and "High-res Lossless." The former will supposedly have songs encoded in Apple's ALAC codec up to 48kHz, while the latter improves the quality up to 192kHz.

Dolby Atmos or Dolby Audio wasn't spotted in the code for Apple Music 3.6, but it was referenced by the company in iOS 14.6 beta 1 before it was removed from beta 2. 

'Twitter Blue' subscription service tipped to have undo tweets, priced at USD 2.99/month

We've heard about Twitter working on a subscription service for a while now. App researcher Jane Manchun Wong revealed that the service might be called Twitter Blue, and it could be priced at USD 2.99 (around CAD 3.62) per month. But we don't know yet when Twitter will launch the service.
