Nothing

Former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has put up a new brand called Nothing. His company is getting ready to release its first product, a pair of TWS earbuds called Ear 1. According to a blog post announcing this launch, Pei describes the Ear 1 as a combination of "transparency, iconic form, and refined functionality." We don't know much about these buds, but these will be oriented to users who love listening to music, podcasts, and audiobooks.

Subaru teases its first electric SUV

Subaru

Subaru's first EV will be coming out next year, and it'll be an SUV similar to its all-wheel-drive predecessors, except it'll be entirely electric. Subaru is calling it the Solterra, which literally means "sun" and "earth," to convey environmental consciousness, as mentioned in a press release.

Solterra will be on sale sometime in 2022 in Canada, the U.S., Europe, China, and Japan. The Japanese automaker is working with Toyota on this first electric venture.

PlayStation Remote Play app gets DualSense support on iOS

Photo by Harpal Singh on Unsplash

With the release of iOS 14.5, the PlayStation Remote Play app on Apple devices can now support the DualSense controllers. It allows you to play PS4 and PS5 games on your iOS devices with a DualSense as long as you have a sufficiently strong network. Android users also have support for the Remote Play app, but it only supports DualShock 4.

IGN reported on some of the caveats this feature has, including Adaptive Triggers working, but haptics might not work, and the headphone jack and built-in speaker aren't compatible, too. Still, if this is a feature you've been waiting for, then your wait is finally over.
