New 'Cyberpunk 2077' patch remedies save file limits on PC, console crashes

Another day, another Cyberpunk 2077 patch. This 1.06 hotfix is coming to the PC and consoles (no word on its Stadia rollout yet). The critical update is for the PC where saved files get corrupted if the file exceeds 8MB, which means you lose your in-game progress. The consoles receive improved memory management, reducing crashes, especially on the memory-limited PS4 and Xbox One systems. The update is under 1GB on the PC and around 15GB to 17GB on the Xbox and PlayStation.

Apple tipped to launch gaming-focused Apple TV next year

Apple TV is long overdue a refresh, and rumours suggest it might finally get one in 2021. And this new iteration will focus on gaming with a storage upgrade of up to 128GB. Bloomberg's latest report suggests it will come with an updated remote and new processor and have a "stronger gaming focus."

Some of the other rumours claim the new remote will have a Find My application support, making it easier for you to locate missing Apple TV remotes. The new A14 processor might power the Apple TV. This streaming box might also get Apple Arcade-exclusive games not available on existing models. We can't say, though, when it might come out. But hopefully sooner rather than later.

Samsung takes down social media post mocking Apple's charger removal

There have been murmurs that Samsung would follow in Apple's footsteps by taking out the charger in its upcoming flagship. The company seems to indirectly acknowledge this by deleting a Facebook post it had up that made fun of Apple's decision to take out the charge in the iPhone 12 series. You can see a screenshot of the post above. It went live the day Apple announced the new iPhones.

Apple attributes the decision to help reduce its e-waste. And it can certainly be helpful if other OEMs follow suit. Apple still includes a USB-C to Lightning cable in the box, so we could hope that Samsung will keep a USB-C to USB-C cable in the Galaxy S21 series.

OnePlus CEO teases smartwatch launch, coming 'early next year'

We know OnePlus is working on a smartwatch. We also recently learned that it's working with Google to develop Wear OS. Now, the company's CEO, Pete Lau, teased on Twitter that it is coming "early next year." He didn't really mention anything else in his tweet. OnePlus usually launches a new smartphone in the spring, so we might see the smartwatch introduced then. OnePlus 9 series are expected to launch in March 2021.

If the OnePlus smartwatch makes its way here, will you get one? What features do you want to see?
