2018 has been Huawei's big year in disrupting the premium smartphone market mostly on the merit of their stellar Leica designed cameras. This year's P20 Pro was a standound flagship that challenged the likes of Samsung and Apple while leapfrogging the market with superb zoom functionality.

Launched yesterday at an even in London was the Mate 20 Pro which is reportedly coming to Canada in November with preorders starting on October 25. The Mate 20 Pro brings a slim, tall 6.3-inch profile, curved glass infinity-display and three camera array to the market.

Huawei follows Apple's footsteps by offering the second 7 nanometer mobile processor in the market (the first for an Android-powered device). As for the defining feature of this device, it's three camera array, Huawei has gotten rid of the monochrome camera that was a popular feature on on the P10 and the P20 Pro.

This time around we get a telephoto lens, a wide angle lens, and an ultra-wide angle lens. Stay tuned for first impressions of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro in the coming weeks.
