HP's new Pavilion releases highlight design and functionality

HP has unveiled its latest crop of Pavilion notebook and convertible devices aimed at the back-to-school season but offering features that are designed to entice general purpose users.

The new lineup is ideal for students, millennials and families, allowing customers to express their individual style while delivering the power they need to be productive and entertained at a price that delivers value. 

“Some customers want thin and light PCs for on the go while other customers want power and performance to create and store,” said Kevin Frost, vice president and general manager, consumer personal systems, HP Inc. “HP’s redesigned Pavilion PCs offer affordability and a variety of options for customers to get the functionality they need in a PC packed with style and personality.”

Drake's "Views" comes out today exclusively on Beats Music

Toronto native and hip hop sensation Drake took to Beats 1 late last night to talk extensively to DJ Zane Lowe about his anticipated album "Views from the 6," which the artist explained was a love letter of sorts to his cty and its people that he worked on during the Winter. "Views" is available exclusively on Apple Music for one week after which it will be available to competing streaming services. The album drops today which is also the first day of sales for his "Summer Sixteen," world tour.

Beats 1 invades Toronto in time for the release of Drake's "Views from the 6"

Canadian artist Drake is set to release his latest album Views from the 6, which drops on April 29 exclusively on Apple Music. To celebrate the release an OVO Sound Radio exclusive interview with Drake out of Toronto is  airing at 10pm ET 4/28 on Beats 1. Drake is expected to play tracks from the new album.

Beats 1 global DJ Zane Lowe was also in Toronto broadcasting his Beats 1 live show which featured call in interviews from Canadian artists like Majid Jordan, Jahkoy, Badbadnotgood, Charlotte Day Wilson & PUP.

Under Armour's HealthBox connected fitness system available for pre-order

Toronto- Under Armour, in partnership with HTC, has made the first connected fitness system available for pre-order. The UA HealthBox is composed of the UA Band wearable, the UA Heart Rate and the UA Scale, all of which were developed in tandem with HTC who build the hardware and integrated the software to the UA Record App which is available for iOS and Android.
